There are seven more associated beneficiaries in this project, apart from the Directorate General for Environment of the Government of Extremadura. The fact that biological invasions are a major problem, and the aim of transboundary cooperation are the reasons why both Spanish and Portuguese institutions are taking part in this project. The associates involved are the following:
Confederación Hidrográfica del Guadiana. (CHG)
Empresa de Desenvolvimento e Infraestruturas de Alqueva, S.A (EDIA-Portugal)
Dirección General de Modernización e Innovación Tecnológica de Vicepresidencia de la Junta de Extremadura.
Confederación Hidrográfica del Tajo. (CHT)
Sociedad de Gestión Pública de Extremadura S.A. (GPEX)
TRAGSATEC
Compañía Agroforestal de Extremadura (AGROFOREX)
The Directorate General for Environmental Quality and Assessment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality needs special mention here for its participation as cofinancing institution.

Also important in the development of the project are the following Portuguese institutions:
Instituto da Conservação da Natureza e das Florestas (ICNF)
Universidade de Évora
Administração da Região Hidrográfica do Algarve  I.P. (ARH)
The participation of all of these institutions is an example of how important a multidisciplinary collaboration among both private and public companies is in order to combat biological invasions.
